Growing up with an artistic mother set the stage for me to continue to love making things. From doodling in every margin to designing websites for friends, I'm always creating something new. Handmade textiles are my passion, especially global fabric, needlework and printing.

A few of my recent activities...

Makeshop, LLC

A series of creative making opportunities for grown-ups that I launched in 2015. A summer crafts retreat and spring and holiday crafts nights. Website

Artist Member, Studio Two Three

I screen print at this co-making space in Richmond's rapidly developing historic Scott's Addition neighborhood.

I have run two shops on Etsy, one for selling children's skirts and the other for reselling mid-century modern objects (sold all inventory).

Learning: I frequently sign up for classes to learn new arts and crafts. A few I've taken: screen printing, Japanese shibori (tie dye), rug hooking, colorwork knitting, relief printing, mosaics, and more.
